Royal family news reveals actions have consequences. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been ranting fiendishly in the run-up to the Presidential election which begs the question: what happens if their guy loses?

According to one brand and reputation management expert, the consequence could be a big hit to the Markle’s carefully crafted brand.

Eric Schiffer is the chairman of Reputation Management Consultants and he says, “Republicans will see Meghan  Markle and Harry as part of the out-of-touch celebrity elite or those actors that are suddenly primadonnas of Hollywood and now want to pontificate about politics.”

Will Meghan And Harry’s “Take A Hit” If Donald Trump Wins The lection?

The fact that these two have even dared to thrust themselves into the political realm at this time and in the brazen manner they have, has provoked all sorts of criticism. Then again, staying in their lane has never been their strong suit.

Schiffer has a word of advice for the shameless hucksters and they’re not going to like it. According to him, if Trump wins people will see Harry and Meghan’s outrageously overt political stance as a knock to their brand. He told Express.co.uk, “People would probably look back and see that as detrimental.”

That’s because the divisive pair have made it crystal clear who they like and who they don’t. When Meghan called Trump a “misogynist,” wore an RBG shirt to a podcast, and urged people to vote for change, her affection for Joe Biden was loud and clear.

Schiffer said that Meghan and Harry’s incessant lecturing about the US election have likely alienated a large voting bloc. He says their opinions, “don’t sit well with Americans who are Trump fans. That is like asking for a war with a part of America at a time when they want to build their brand and create a level of interest as producers and as entertainment creators.”

“There is no logic to create a partnership brand by in essence attacking the President and suggesting that people need to vote so that there is a reduction in hateful speech. That’s a dog whistle to anyone that says ‘get Republicans out.’”

The vocal pair has not explicitly backed either of the candidates running for the White House but their obvious rhetoric has anyone with half a brain thinking they are backing Biden. There meddling has gotten to the point that it is considered “interference” by one US congressman who has now asked the UK to intervene in their overt political behavior.
