The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Monday, October 19: Hope Demands Liam Let Steffy Go – Zende Senses Trouble

CBS The Bold & the Beautiful spoilers and recap for Monday, October 19, 2020, opens at the Los Angeles cliff house where Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Dovlan) puts the moves on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He claims that, when she came into the ER battered and bruised after her motorcycle accident, she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. Steffy brings up the elephant in the room: her ex. She apologizes for Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) outrageous accusations against Finn. Liam was way out of line.

Finn isn’t worried about Liam. He and Steffy don’t need Liam’s approval to see each other. Finn understands Liam’s protectiveness of Steffy and her daughter. Steffy wonders whether she needs protection from Finn. He says protection is called for if she’s afraid he’ll want to spend as much time with her as possible. Steffy is happy to get to know him better.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Wants Her Husband To Be Honest

At the cabin, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) asks her husband to be honest with himself about what’s motivating his animosity toward Finn.

Liam claims he doesn’t trust Finn because Steffy got addicted to pain pills under the doctor’s nose while he was trying to date her. He insists he’s not jealous of Finn. Liam wonders how he’ll deal with someone he doesn’t trust hanging around his daughter. Finn’s ethical breach speaks to his character in the future. Liam disputes that Steffy is a consenting adult because her judgment about Finn was impaired by the addiction that Finn facilitated. It was Finn’s job to notice the signs, but he was so focused on his libido, he dropped the ball.

Hope sings Finn’s praises—he’s funny, smart, personable, and makes Steffy happy. Liam isn’t pleased that Steffy has found happiness because, deep down, he doesn’t want her to move on with another man. Finn couldn’t have prevented the opioid addiction because, even if he was looking for the signs, Steffy is so determined she could have hidden it from him. Hope asks her husband to take a step back, look at the situation objectively, and let Steffy live her life. Liam’s behavior is inappropriate and controlling.

Liam is stumped over Hope’s request. He and Hope are solid. His issues are with Finn.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Not Afraid Of Losing Liam Spencer

Hope knows Liam loves her and she’s not afraid of losing him, but, if he continues to ride to Steffy’s rescue, he is disrespecting Steffy and Hope. Hope deserves to have Liam’s focus on her and their children. Hope demands that Liam let Steffy go.

At Forrester Creations, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) gives Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) a spontaneous fashion show of his designs. Zoe believes Zende has the legendary Forrester ability to design clothing that feels good and moves well on a woman’s body. Zende’s quest is to bring Hope’s message to life visually: Women are fierce and strong yet sensual and beautiful. Empowerment plus femininity. Zende is tempted to peek while Zoe changes clothes and tries on a flirty blue dress.

Zoe turns up the music and gives him a sexy runway walk. He’s taken by her beauty, talent, and smarts. He’s going to enjoy working with her. She believes that together they’re going to rock the fashion business.

Zende senses trouble between Zoe and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Zoe reveals that she rejected Carter’s invite to move in with him.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) drops by with flowers for sis and is surprised to see the good doctor in residence. Thomas thanks Finn for realizing how special Steffy is. Finn impressed Thomas when he made sure Kelly was there to greet Steffy after rehab. Steffy appreciates her brother for giving her support and confidence in her ability to make her own choices and chart her own course.

Thomas guesses that Liam came over to voice his disapproval of Finn. Steffy says Liam isn’t her problem: he’s going to have to change his attitude because Finn isn’t going anywhere.

Thomas claims Liam polices Steffy’s personal life because she’s allowed him to and he feels entitled to weigh in. Thomas relates to Liam’s concerns as a father but wants Steffy to stick up for herself. Finn reminds Steffy that Liam is married to Hope.

Steffy is pleasantly surprised by Thomas’ newfound zen about Hope’s marriage to Liam. Thomas wants the chance to move on with his life, including working on the new line for Hope for the Future. Hope has chosen Zende as her designer and seems indifferent to Thomas. Steffy offers to talk to Hope on Thomas’ behalf. He wants to fix the mistrust he created. All the conflict isn’t good for anyone, especially the kids.

Steffy says that Finn’s part of her life now and Liam will just have to deal with it.
