General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, November 2, tease that it’ll be time to head to the polls in Port Charles! General Hospital will air a voting-themed episode, which will highlight the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage and what followed the passage of the 19th amendment.
This will tie in with election day in PC – and it’ll be Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) first time being eligible to vote. Joss won’t really think it’s a big deal since she’s only one person. From Josslyn’s perspective, she’ll wonder if her vote will even matter that much.
General Hospital Spoilers – Josslyn Jacks Civic Duty
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will explain that Joss has a civic duty and will push her daughter to make time for this important task. Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will back Carly up on that – and so will Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) a little later. There’ll be a special exhibit that Trina has to attend for a school project, so Josslyn will attend with her.
Joss and Trina will learn all about what suffragists went through, so it’ll get them fired up about exercising their own right to vote. General Hospital spoilers say Joss will get the scoop on her great-great-grandmother and how she fits into the suffrage movement, so there’ll be a personal connection here. An old voting booth lever will lead to GH rewinding the clock.
After we go back in time, we’ll see plenty of familiar faces – though they’ll be playing new characters for one day only! Laura Wright will take center stage as Beatrice Eckert the suffragist, so she’ll have some words of wisdom to impart.
GH Spoilers -Stirring Up Trouble
Wright, McCoy, Mikayla Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), Maura West (Ava Jerome Cassadine), Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Baldwin), Cassandra James (Terry Randolph), Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford), and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) will all be seen in some great costumes. It looks like Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) will be part of the action as well, so her character may stir up some trouble.
Election day in the present will bring some regrets for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), but she’ll be eager to shake them off. Lucy may reflect on her one vote making a mess of things at ELQ, but at least she’ll be able to vote the way she wants in PC’s election. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) won’t be breathing down her neck, so Lucy can cast the vote she truly wants.
Over with Portia, she’ll offer assistance to Ava and hopefully keep building on their bond. Ava and Portia aren’t exactly friends, but they’re getting there! Back with Carly and Bobbie, they’ll anxiously await the election results as well as how things went for Joss and Trina.
