General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Ryan Rises From The Flames and Beats Death, Escapes and Goes After Ava?

General Hospital spoilers tease that like a phoenix from the flames, will again beat death! Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that in Port Charles, NY Ryan has been scorched, stabbed, probably shot a time or two, and in spite of taking a licking he still keeps on ticking! The first time Ryan “died” was in an explosion in a funhouse in Canada over twenty-five years ago.

He had been obsessed with Felicia Jones, now Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and he had kidnapped Georgie Jones (most recently Lindze Letherman), whom he renamed Celeste. Mac Scorpio, (John J. York), Felicia, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) had tracked him, and baby Georgie, to Canada where Kevin and Ryan fought in a maze of mirrors in a funhouse.

Baby Georgie was rescued but Ryan wasn’t done yet. At the time, it was speculated that Ryan had committed suicide when he dislodged a gas pipe and appeared to go up in flames in front of Kevin’s horrified eyes! Their late mother’s ghost appeared to escort Ryan “home” – wherever that afterlife was, assumed to be a whole lot like the flames that consumed him! However, twenty-five years later it was revealed that he didn’t die – he had been rescued by DVX operatives, nurtured back to health, and worked for them undercover all those years.

More than likely he was an assassin, and there is a good chance that he was in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia with a lot of the same procedure that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) underwent to get rid of the serious burn scars on her face! Then Ryan was stabbed – in the back, with his own knife, first by Ava, which helped get him to GH where Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) got one of his kidneys. Now, he’s been stabbed in the back again, by an unknown assailant in the telephones area of Pentonville Prison as Ava and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) argued outside in the hall. We do know it was likely one of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hit men, requested by Julian Jerome (William DeVry).

GH Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Again Is Taken To General Hospital

Ryan again is taken to General Hospital and rushed into surgery. Ava and Julian keep an eye on things until Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) escorts Julian to Sonny’s house for a serious talk! Ava follows along later, but before Stone Cold shows up she gives Julian as much of an update as she knows about Ryan’s condition. She was told that he has lost a lot of blood and was unconscious long enough that he could have suffered some brain damage. However, no cat scans or MRIs have been done, and Sonny and Ava weren’t arguing that long!

Julian, being positive, said then maybe Ryan will at least be a vegetable if he lives. Ava said it was too soon to tell, which it was. A good question is does General Hospital even still have a neurologist? With all of the budget cuts, perhaps not! Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) left a long time ago, and even if he was there he wouldn’t want to touch saving Ryan Chamberlain with a ten-foot pole!

Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) knew enough about brains to diagnose Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) rare case of brain worms, but he’s busy fighting for his own life! That might leave Ryan’s twin, Kevin, as the only person who can order and read a brain scan in the entire hospital, besides Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) an oncologist!

But sources say an insider leaked that General Hospital viewers shouldn’t count on Ryan dying. It is indeed too soon to tell whether he will have brain damage that will cause him to be a vegetable, or just enough to make him even eviler than he is! But if he could survive a gas explosion and still retain his brain functions and his mentality after that, there is a good possibility that Ryan Chamberlain is simply unkillable and will beat death yet again!
