‘Beyond the Gate’ Dani Vs. Hayley War – Was She Justified In Slapping Bill’s Fiancé?

Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest the very first episode offered some explosive moments and interesting insight into characters and storylines.

One focal point during Monday, February 24 was the war between Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), her ex-husband Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), and his soon-to-be wife, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings). Dani seems very bent on revenge against Bill and his mistress; however, is she justified in all this?

Dani, Bill, & Hayley’s History

Dani and Bill got married when she was only 19, and she walked away from a lucrative career in modeling to become the wife of a lawyer, and the mother of his two daughters, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) and Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla). Bill and Dani were married for 35 years, and while Bill had been unfaithful before, Hayley was the first mistress Bill left Dani for.

With that said, there’s also major history between Dani and Hayley. After all, Bill’s mistress isn’t just some random young woman he jumped into bed with – she was his daughter, Naomi’s, best friend. Moreover, during the Monday, February 24 show, it was revealed that Hayley was orphaned and that the Hamiltons opened their home to her when she became friends with Naomi. Dani even recommended that Hayley become Bill’s assistant, which is when the two began their affair.

The Slap Heard Around Fairmont Crest

On top of everything else, it was revealed that Bill and Hayley’s wedding is set to take place at the country club. If that wasn’t enough disrespect, they bought a house behind the Fairmont Crest gates.

It was pointed out that Bill literally could buy a home anywhere he wanted, so why would the two choose a dwelling so close to where Dani lives? Fairmont Crest was founded by Dani’s family, The Duprees, so it’s like Bill and Hayley are throwing their affair and new marriage in Dani’s face.

Could they both be doing this on purpose? Does Hayley have some unknown resentment toward Dani or possibly Naomi? She seemed pretty clueless during Monday’s show, but that doesn’t mean her true colors and intentions won’t come out in the days and weeks ahead.

During the close of Monday’s show, Dani slapped Hayley across the face before she walked out of the country club. Was she justified in doing so?
