Jordi Vilasuso Joins BTG

Beyond the Gates spoilers confirm that Young and the Restless alum Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) will be joining the CBS soap in Season 2. While his first air date has yet to be confirmed, the second season of the show begins on Friday, January 2.

The character Vilasuso will be playing has also not been revealed; however, he was seen briefly in the Season 2 promo video, lovingly interacting with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob), so it seems he might become the nurse’s new love interest.

Vilasuso is a soap opera veteran and Daytime Emmy winner, snagging the award in the Outstanding Younger actor category in 2003 for his work on Guiding Light as Tony Santos.

He played Griffin Castillo on All My Children from 2010 to 2011 and was Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives from 2016 to 2017. Vilasuso was on the Y&R from 2018 to 2022.

Special Guest Appearance

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, December 30, note that as Fairmont Crest rings in 2026, there will be a special guest appearance. R&B singer Kenny Lattimore will perform some of his hits at Uptown during that NYE episode.

The daytime drama’s weekly preview shows Lattimore on stage, much to the delight of Dr. Madison Montgomery (Kenjah), Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla), Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon), and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria), who are in the audience.

Preemption Notice

Beyond the Gates fans need to note that the CBS soap will not be seen on Wednesday, December 31, due to Sun Bowl coverage. BTG will resume regular programming as of Thursday, January 1.
