Beyond the Gates spoilers confirm that the CBS daytime drama will be preempted on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, for coverage of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The soap will appear during its regularly scheduled timeslot on the other days of next week.

Sunny Special Appearance

Beyond the Gates spoilers note that celebrity chef and Food Network host, Sunny Anderson, will be on the show during the week of May 4-8.

Fans should expect to see Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) and Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) run into her at Orphey Genes during the Friday, May 8 show. What’s Sunny doing in the land of Fairmont Crest? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

In other BTG casting news for the week of May 4, recurring character Randy Parker, played by Maurice P. Kerry, will be on the soap.

During the Thursday, May 7 episode, his boss, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), will have an urgent request for him, so Randy will need to jump into action! What will he need to do? Only time will tell!

In addition, fans will see more of Dr. Lia Whitmore, played by Cecelia Specht, throughout the week. As the plasma ring storyline continues to heat up, Lia will issue a threat to Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso).

In an interesting twist, Lia will also get grilled by Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon), so that should provide some interesting scenes for viewers!
