Beyond The Gates Comings & Goings Week Of April 28: Naomi’s New Client, Anita’s New Representation

Naomi Hawthorne’s New Client

Beyond the Gates spoilers remind fans about the situation Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) was involved in during the Friday, April 25 episode.

An argumentative homeless woman was brought to the station, and Naomi’s husband, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges), was there when June arrived.

He called his wife to help the woman, in hopes that Naomi could represent her with her court dates. June will be back on the canvas during the Monday, April 28 episode, and the actress who plays the new BTG character is Jasmine Burke.

June doesn’t entirely trust Naomi, and who could blame her; however, will Ms. Hawthorne help break down June’s walls long enough so she can help her?

Anita Dupree’s New Representation?

Meanwhile, during this past week’s show, fans saw a new character, Jim Price, played by Aleq Bey, enter the equation. The Dupree family hit Uptown on the Monday, April 21 show, and the family coaxed Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) on stage to sing karaoke.

She caught the eye of talent promoter Jim Price, and he tried to get her to sign on with him for her big comeback during the Tuesday, April 22 episode.

As Anita was wary of jumping on stage at Uptown to begin with and had a little anxiety about performing, she didn’t accept Jim’s offer, but agreed to think about it; however, it sounds like this isn’t the last time fans will see him or Anita singing on stage.

She got an incredible reception within Uptown and on social media (as the video of her singing went viral) after her performance, so it sounds like Anita could be heading toward a storyline that sees her performing once again.
