Beyond The Gates’ David Lami Friebe Pokes Fun At Co-Star In Hilarious Video

Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that Izaiah Hawthorne might be a bit of a newbie in town; however, it looks like his portrayer, David Lami Friebe, has settled in nicely with the entire cast backstage. Friebe just dropped a hilarious social media video, poking fun at a fellow co-star.

Who? Who? Hoo! Hooo!

Friebe jumped on Instagram recently, following a social media trend of doing an impression of an owl. The headline on the video read, “My impression of owl, but it’s Chief Elon Hawthorne.”

In the video, Friebe states, “Alright, so this is an impression of owl, if the owl is Chief Elon Hawthorne, and you told him his son Izaiah just got back into town.”

Of course, “Chief Elon Hawthorne”, Izaiah’s dad, played by actor Malachi Malik, is standing next to Friebe in the IG video.

Friebe proceeds to do an impression of Elon, by saying “Who?” (or “Hhhooo”), with an attitude on his face. Friebe looks back at Malik (who jokingly doesn’t look impressed), and then looks back at the camera and says, “Thank you.” The caption of the Instagram post read, “mean ass owl  @iammalachimalik.” Friebe added the following hashtags:

BTG Co-Stars Flood The Comment Section

It’s clear that both Malik and Friebe were playing it up for the camera, and along with fans, other Beyond the Gates co-stars flooded Friebe’s IG post.

RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton) wrote, “Lmaooo,” while Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) added, “SILLY!” Meanwhile, Daphnee Duplaix (Nicole Dupree) placed five laughy emojis in the section, and her onscreen grandson, Jaden Lucas Miller (Tyrell Richardson), added three fire emojis.

Jasime Burke (June) placed a laughy emoji in the comment section, as Friebe’s onscreen brother, Jibre Hordges (Jacob Hawthorne), commented with three laughy emojis. It must be a “Hawthorne” thing, as Malik also commented with three laughy emojis.

The Hawthorne men may not always see eye-to-eye, but it’s nice to know that off the canvas, Malik and Friebe love to joke around.
