Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that the temperatures may get colder in the fall; however, things are certainly going to heat up in the land of Fairmont Crest.
The CBS soap’s Head Writer and Creator, Michele Val Jean, recently spoke to TV Insider and offered a sneak peek into what fans should expect over the next couple of months.
The Duprees’ Troubles
Beyond the Gates spoilers for this fall suggest there will be troubling times ahead, where Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will have to steer both their family and community.
The good thing about this super couple is they know how to lean on each other, and they’ll do so with strength. Anita will meet some obstacles where her music career with the Articulettes is concerned, while Vernon will go to extreme lengths to protect his family.
DAndre + Bill Hamilton

Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will make a solid effort to block Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) out of her life, but she’ll have some valid reasons to be roped back in.
Unfortunately, Bill’s not ready to let her go, which spells trouble for her marriage to Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman).
Added teasers also note that Dani will find herself in danger, as Andre’s secret connection with Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) could blow up. Heather is someone who’s not afraid to follow through on her threats.
Back to Bill, he’ll make some major decision to help free himself of Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings). With that said, something huge is on the horizon for him as he confronts some dark parts of his past.
As for Hayley, her poison plot may have fumbled, but she’s not one to give up. Added teasers note that she’s not done plotting or done with Bill. She’ll turn a lemon into lemonade.

Bradley “Smitty” Smith World
Beyond the Gates fall spoilers hint that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) will find himself in an odd position as the investigative professional will not be headline news. He’ll deal with soul-searching, guilt, and come up with a plan to defend himself and loved ones.
Meanwhile, Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) congressional campaign will continue, and Martin will have to juggle his hubby’s issues as well as his own career pressures. Will this bring the couple closer or further apart?
Elsewhere, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will butt heads where their work is concerned. In addition, the cop will stop at nothing to expose The Impaler, but there will be a sacrifice in seeking justice.
More Fall Intel
Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) and Dr. Kial Rollin will continue to get closer as their romance blossoms.
With that said, she’ll live life on her own terms and make a decision about what she wants for her future. Still, by the time the holidays hit, fans need to brace for Nicole’s world being flipped upside down … again!
Then, there’s Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson) and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson Morrison). Fall spoilers note that the two figure out their “happily ever after” might be hard to come by.
Lastly, Vanessa McBride’s (Lauren Buglioli) loyalty to Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) may come at a huge cost: her own safety and family.
Joey will struggle with the knowledge that Heather is not who she used to be, as his sister goes through terrible lengths to cause chaos in the DMV. Still, added teasers warn she just might be stopped … but by whom?
