Karla Mosley Talks To Fans

Mosley recently uploaded a video on her Instagram to talk to fans about Dani’s storyline. T

he caption read, “@beyondthgatescbs writer appreciation post. LOVE YOU!!!! @michelevaljean and the whole team.” Of course, Michele Val Jean is Beyond the Gates’ creator and head writer. 

In the video, Mosley talks about her PEOPLE interview where she mentioned that the fans helped influence the trajectory of Dani’s story.

More specifically, the love triangle that erupted between her, her current husband, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), and her ex-husband, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett).

She goes on to extend her love to BTG fans and talks about how much she loves hearing them talk about storylines and predictions.

In fact, Mosley reveals in the video that she often heads to Val Jean looking for spoilers, but the head writer keeps her lips sealed!

The actress notes that while fan response can influence storylines and the writers, sometimes factors like chemistry on set are also something that factors into how arcs unfold. This is when things get interesting where Mosley’s IG video is concerned. 

Mosley says that Michele Val Jean is a master storyteller, and she says, “The scripts that are coming out now: some of them make me smile, some of them make me angry – all the things that you want!”

She also states that BTG’s stories are going in ways that she would’ve never imagined … better than she imagined!

Mosley ends the video telling fans, “Enjoy the ride!” Beyond the Gates shoots about four months ahead of broadcast, so whatever stories she’s talking about, fans will see sometime in the fall!
