Recently, Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa McBride) revealed a backstage “meme wall”, which is not only hilariously awesome but helps keep the BTG cast connected to fans.
Buglioli’s Exposes BTG’s Meme Wall
Buglioli hopped on Instagram, uploading a backstage video with her and some castmates. The caption read, “Running on caffeine and your @beyondthegatescbs memes who made these?! we love y’all. keep em cominnnn #beyondthegates #cbs #btg #btgmemes”
Buglioli opens the video by saying, “Vanessa, sleeping with her own husband?” Buglioli looks shocked at first, but then starts laughing a bit as she tells the camera, “We got a meme wall, we see you!” Behind Buglioli is a wall filled with social media memes from BTG fans, with outrageous comments on storylines.
RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton) read from the BTG meme wall next, saying, “That’s why Dani (Dupree-Karla Mosley) was running Chelsea off, she had that fine-@ss Andre (Richardson – Sean Freeman) up there naked!” The camera pans to RhonniRose, making a fun face at the camera.

As the video progresses, Ambyr Michelle (Eva Thomas) is up next, reading off a meme that says, “Leslie (Thomas – Trisha Mann-Grant) doing all this and I wonder if Ted (Richardson – Keith D. Finally, Mike Manning (Bradley “Smitty” Smith) reads off the meme wall, stating, “Tide made a cameo today, Febreze must have the day off.”
As the camera turns to Mike, he pulls a Febreze from behind his back and presents it in front of him with a smile and cheekily notes, “Just kidding!” (as laughter can be heard in the background).
