Beyond The Gates Marquita Goings Poses A Question On Every Fan’s Mind

Beyond the Gates spoilers imply things are getting mighty complicated in Hayley Hamilton’s world. She’s married to Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett), but is also trying to poison her hubby to score a $10 M life insurance plan. With that said, newcomer, Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe), has also caught her eye.

Actress Marquita Goings recently posed a question on social media that’s on every BTG fan’s mind right now, where Hayley and Izaiah are concerned.

Why Can’t We Be Friends?

Goings recently hopped on Instagram and posted a video of her and David Lami Friebe backstage. The headline on the video read, “Can married Hayley and new man in town Izaiah be friends?”

The video has some sultry background music as “Hayley” walks through a door backstage, as she catches “Izaiah’s” eye. They smile at each other, and Izaiah looks pretty smitten as he watches Hayley saunter by.

Lami was tagged in the video.

The Comment Section Was On Fire

Lami replied to the video with, “Tell Bill I don’t no smoke (laughing emoji),” as Goings replied with a laughing emoji. Daphnee Duplaix, who plays Nicole Dupree on the CBS soap, also commented, “I can’t wait to find out,” and Goings replied with two heart emojis.

Fans loved the fun video and chimed in the comment section, with some encouraging Friebe/Izaiah to stay FAR AWAY from Hayley, even though many admitted the characters do have chemistry.

Izaiah has a budding romance with Eva Thomas (Ambyr Micheel), and the two have massive sparks as well. Still, Eva is far less trouble than Hayley, who seems to only have one thing on her mind where Izaiah is concerned, while Eva is truly looking for love.

Will Izaiah do the right thing and stay away from Hayley? Probably not, this is a soap opera after all!
