Michele Val Jean Shares Some Good News with Canadians
BTG’s Creator, Head Writers, and one of the show’s Executive Producers, Michele Val Jean hopped on the social media platform, X and shared some fun news about the soap, for Canadians.
Reposting from The Gatekeeper’s Podcast, which was reposted from Jeevan Brar – Beyond the Gates will not only be airing on CBS as of February 24, 2025, but also Canadian’s CHCH TV.
Val Jean’s caption noted, “Canadians who want to watch here’s where #BeyondTheGates #BTG”.
Meanwhile, The Gatekeeper’s Podcast’s caption read, “Confirmed: #BeyondTheGates will air in Canada on CHCH TV! Check local listings and join us on Monday, February 24th as history is made! #BeyondTheGates #TGKPod”.
Then there was Brar’s original X post, which stated, “#BeyondTheGates will air on CBS and CHCH TV in Canada beginning Monday, Feb. 24.”

Canadian Streaming Options
Still, Brar reveals in his post’s comment thread that there is no agreement in terms of streaming for Canada – this, according to Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Here’s hoping a deal is ironed out soon, after all, Canadians love to stream their favorite shows, too, and BTG is sure to become a fan favorite in the Great White North, soon enough!

Soap fans are mere days away from the big debut, and the excitement continues to build!
CBS has been airing 30-minute specials all week in their ‘Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood’ series which has showcased previews on the daytime drama and offered exclusive backstage content, including interviews with the cast and executive producers, as well as so much more. The five-part series has been hosted by Entertainment Tonight and has presented a nice ‘sneak peek’ into the new soap.
