Beyond The Gates Moves Broadcasters In Canada For Season 2

Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that the show’s Season 2 officially begins on Friday, January 2. With that said, there will be some broadcasting changes in the Great White North. When BTG first began, it aired on CHCH in Canada.

About four months ago, it moved to the CTV Drama Channel. Now, Canada’s Bell Media is moving the show to another property of their media group, the E! channel, and it’ll begin airing the new CBS soap as of January 5 at 3 p.m. ET.

CTV Drama placed a small pause on airing new episodes during the holiday season, since Friday, December 19. With that said, even though it’s only been a couple of weeks, a lot went down during this time, including Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) learning she had breast cancer.

Canadian fans can catch up on these shows, as the missing episodes will soon drop on Crave. In addition, Crave will stream new BTG shows a day after they’ve aired.

 Season 2 Alert

In addition to the holiday hiatus, BTG fans will also have the opportunity to watch the show’s first season on Crave, too.

As the show enters Season 2, there’s a lot to be excited for where the daytime drama is concerned. Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that soap veteran, Jordi Vilasuso, will soon debut on the show, and dive into a romantic storyline with “vanilla” nurse, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).

While there is no information on who he’ll be playing and his exact airdate, Vilasuso was in the Season 2 extended promo for BTG, so his appearance is imminent.

Vilasuso played Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless and has also had runs on Days of Our Lives, All My Children, and Guiding Light during his soap opera career.
