Beyond the Gates Premiere to be Preceded by Paley Center Event

Everyone’s buzzing about Beyond the Gates’ debut on CBS in late February, and there’s more exciting news to share.

A special panel event has been scheduled to celebrate the soap’s groundbreaking premiere, which will take place four days before the daytime drama airs its first episode. More details on this, below.

Beyond the Gates’ Special Panel Being Held At The Paley Museum In New York City

As per the Paley Center’s website, the mission for media events such as this one is to, “preserve our media history and explore media’s powerful shaping influence on our culture and society.”

One way to do this is through informative, yet fun, panels, showcasing television shows in the streaming, primetime, and daytime platforms.

This makes it that much more special that Beyond the Gates will get acknowledged by Paley when Executive Producer and President of the CBS/NAACP production, Sheila Ducksworth, along with cast members Daphnée Duplaix (Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson) and Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree) appear at the Paley Museum for a unique and interactive event. In addition, Vladimir Duthiers, a featured CBS Mornings host, will moderate the panel.

Beyond The Gates’ Special Paley Panel – The Reason Why

The Beyond the Gates special panel event is part of the Paley Impact series. The show is making history as the first soap to premiere on television since 1999, which makes sense as to why they are being spotlighted in this fashion.

The panel event, titled, “Making Soap Opera History with CBS’s Beyond the Gates” takes place on Thursday, February 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Paley Museum.

Tickets go on sale as of Friday, January 31 at 12 p.m. ET, and fans who are interested in attending can visit the Paley Center’s website to find out more details and secure seats to the event.

Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates is set to debut on Monday, February 24 at 2 pm ET / 1 pm CT on CBS, and will stream on Paramount+, as well.
