Nicole Dupree’s Steamy Night
The Beyond the Gates promo opens with a scene between Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) and Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) dancing up a storm in her mansion’s living room, while the fireplace is going.
As the scenes shift, Carlton asks Nicole who this “fun-loving, adventurous …” but before he can finish, she plans a kiss on him. In the background, Nicole can be heard saying, “This is Nicole Dupree, Phase 2”.
It looks like Carlton and Nicole are about to hit the sheets next week! But what about her chemistry with Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan)? What does it mean for their budding romance?
Hayley Hamilton & Lynette Wise’s Past
As the promo continues, Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) is shown next, talking to new character, Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison), who was interested in retaining Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett) law firm for her case, during the Friday, December 12 episode.

Hayley can be heard telling Lynette that she’s invited someone to their catch-up, as Lynette shockingly gasps, “Randy?” Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) shows up and hugs Lynette as he states, “Long time no see.” How is Lynette connected to Hayley and Randy?
Leslie Thomas Spills The Tea
Over at the hospital, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) is shown with Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). Ted is stunned as he says, “You’re telling me Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) had an affair?” Leslie corrects him by saying, no, “… is having an affair, as in the present tense.”
Ted replies, “With?” Leslie seems to think that Vernon is having an affair with Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker), but she’s likely way off base here. The last thing she should be doing is telling the world, but Leslie isn’t one to think things through.
Articulettes Reunion

As the Beyond the Gates promo for the week of December 15-19 continues, Sharon, along with Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell), seems to be having an Articulettes reunion, with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) in the Dupree mansion living room.
Sharon notes, “I came here to cheer you up, and here I am sticking my foot in my mouth.” Anita retorts, “No news there,” with a look of disdain on her face.
Anita is slated to get some bad news during the week of December 15-19, and it might be about her health, so it’s nice that her Articulette sisters will be by her side.
Still, will she also learn about Sharon and Vernon’s “secret” meetings, too? It sounds like Vernon is getting singing lessons from Sharon to surprise Anita, but only time will tell.
Dani Dupree Defends Her Marriage
As the BTG promo video wraps up, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has a scene with Bill as he retorts, “I’m surprised the honeymoon phase has lasted this long,” as Dani replies, “He’s the real deal.”
The preview closes with Dani at home, as Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) asks why she needs help in the bedroom. He implies she needs some assistance with wrapping Christmas gifts, and she tells him it has more to do with some “unwrapping” as she walks into the bedroom, and he quickly (and excitedly) follows.
