‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week Of December 8-12: Bill Collapses, Dani’s Deception, Marcel & Leslie Bond

Leslie Thomas Lays The Charm On

The Beyond the Gates promo opens with Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) at the police station, flirting up a storm with Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy).

Leslie seductively states how they keep running into each other and how this could be a sign, as Malone replies, “You’re tempting fate, you know?”

As the scenes shift, the next clip is of Marcel at the police station, talking to Chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik).

The cop tells his boss that, “She clocked me, so I took the charm offensive,” as Elon retorts back that this is still “not the move”. Are they talking about Leslie?

Dani Dupree’s Deception

As the BTG promo continues, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) arrives at her parents’ house, all smiles. She tells Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), “Can’t a daughter drop by to see her beloved father without an ulterior motive?” Vernon states with a smile, “No.”

Meanwhile, things are looking up for Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit). While they were having marital issues, next week they’ll enjoy some romance.

During the preview, Jacob welcomes Naomi into a hotel room that he’s decorated with flowers, as he asks his wife, “Feeling that, or am I doing too much?” Naomi giggles and the two share a kiss.

WinterFest Fun

WinterFest continues during the week of December 8-12, as the Beyond the Gates promo shows a clip of the crowd clapping, while special guest, singer and reality TV star, Keke Wyatt, takes some bows.

Vernon, Dani, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) are all shown in the video, applauding her, after the singer’s set.

Finally, the last scene is of Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) collapsing in the middle of his office, as Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) runs to him and frantically starts calling out his name. With that said, no one is around, so what’s the show of concern for?
