Next week on Beyond the Gates, Eva expresses her frustrations to Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), feeling exhausted from her ongoing conflicts with Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad
Leslie, remaining calm, points out that Kat is still her sister, indicating that their disputes are far from resolved.
At the same time, Kat has a conversation with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), where she shares her belief that Leslie and Eva will perpetually linger, just waiting for another opportunity to disrupt their lives.
From the first machination by Leslie, running over Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) to get Eva close to her birth father, to the present time, she’s been nothing but trouble. Ted has accepted Eva but getting his two girls to even be civil has been a tremendous problem!

Two Timing Flirts
In another scene, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is taken aback when she sees Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) casually lounging in her parents’ foyer; she’s puzzled as to his reason for being there.
Her expression shifts quickly as she exclaims, “Don’t tell me you’re here to ask my dad for my hand in marriage;” marriage to her is the furthest thing from his mind.
Then comes the twist—Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Andre embark on a journey that’s sweet, romantic, and slightly dreamy, with a shot of them close dancing and kissing.
Perhaps he’s merely being a friend, helping her move on from Derek Baldwin (Ben Garvin), but those kisses seem quite genuine, and definitely not platonic! Dani, girl, you’d better stay alert, you’re losing your lover to someone else!

Heartwarming Flashbacks
In a touching moment, granddaughters Naomi and Chelsea Hamilton (Arielle Prepetit, Rhonni Rose Mantilla), along with great-granddaughter Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson), come together to browse through old photographs of The Articulettes.
They’re all mesmerized to discover that their grandmother was part of such a legendary group. We even catch a glimpse of the reunion concert — pure nostalgia as the three musical dynamos hit the stage!
One of the girls remarks, “Every time I watch videos of the Articulettes during their peak — it’s truly mind-blowing, isn’t it?” A photo of the group performing on stage appears, and they proudly exclaim, “That’s our grandma!”
