‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week of March 30: Joey’s Outburst, Tomas’s Defense, Easter Holliday Fun

Beyond the Gates spoilers confirm the CBS daytime drama just released its preview video for the week of March 30-April 3, and there are some bombshells to brace for. Find out about all the drama set to unravel over the next five days, below.  

Vanessa McBride’s Embarrassment

The Beyond the Gates promo opens with a scene at Uptown, where Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) are on a double date with Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix).

Vanessa has a look of horrified embarrassment on her face as Joey rants how he “wishes” he could be like, “… one of you self-righteous, do-gooders” (he’s looking straight at Nicole and Carlton).

Joey goes on to say, “… politicians and all those dead bodies … literally,” which makes them both uncomfortable. It sounds like Joey and Carlton will clash during the double date with their gal pals, so how bad will this all end?! Could this affect Nicole and Vanessa’s relationship?

As the scenes shift, Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is in Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett) office, and he’s rather upset.

He tells his boss, “You know I didn’t do this,” as Bill retorts, “My wife says otherwise, are you calling her a liar?” Yikes! Things are going to get pretty ugly between Bill and his junior lawyer. Will Tomas lose his job?

Dr. Kial Rollins’ Dream

Next, Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) is in bed, as Nicole is on top of him. He states, “If this is a dream, my subconscious has great taste,” as Nicole smiles back at him. It looks like Nicole will take Kial up on that offer and “use his key” anytime she wants!

Over to Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), she’ll be at Uptown with Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison). 

Hayley looks very upset as she tells her “friend” that she’s putting her in a bad position, which is when Lynette warns her that she’ll blow up her plan, “sky high”.

Jennifer Holliday’s Special Easter Appearance

As the Beyond the Gates promo for the week of March 30 wraps up, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is at the Fairmont Crest country club, standing up and addressing the rest of the patrons. Anita makes a special announcement: welcoming singer Jennifer Holliday into the dining area!

Holliday walks in and says, “Happy Easter, everyone,” as the crowd wishes her a “Happy Easter” back. Holliday is set for her guest appearance during the Friday, April 3 episode.
