‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week of September 14: Dani Confesses To Andre, Anita’s Terrifying Realization, Kat’s Denial

Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that the CBS soap just dropped its preview for the week of September 14-18, and there are some massive bombshells ahead. Read on to find out about all the drama set to unravel in Fairmont Crest over the next five days.

Anita Dupree’s Horrifying Epiphany

The Beyond the Gates promo opens with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) in her living room. She’s got her phone in hand as she looks up if chemotherapy permanently ruins vocal cords.

As the search results load, Anita reacts very negatively to what she’s reading. Could this mean that she’s lost her singing voice, for good?

Friends’ Zone

Across town, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) is with Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla). Chelsea asks Kat if she can honestly say she’s not into Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami) at all.

Kat shakes her head, grabs her phone, and robotically states, “We are just friends.” Chelsea wonders what she’s doing, and Kat says she’s using Google Translate to say it in Spanish since Chelsea’s clearly not understanding! #ClassicKat

Ted Richardson Lashes Out

As scenes shift in the Beyond the Gates preview for the week of September 14, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) confronts Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) at Orphey Genes.

Leslie is with Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) when Ted notes how ‘pathetic’ Leslie is for constantly trying to ruin things between him and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson).

Malone asks him to lower his voice a bit (since Ted is being loud), and Ted replies, “He!!, no!” This is when Leslie smiles and says, “Ooooh, alright! Settle down, boys!” Leslie actually believes these men are fighting over her!

Smitty Smith Interrogated

Across town, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) is being questioned by Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges), with Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) by Smitty’s side.

Jacob hands over a tablet to Smitty, which seems to have a photo or video of him. Jacob asks Smitty if that is him, and Smitty notes, “It appears to be.”

Jacob then asks why Smitty is ‘slipping’ something to someone else. Naomi then pipes up and asks Jacob if he’s charging ‘her client’ with anything. Is Smitty in legal trouble?

Dani Dupree Apologizes

As the preview winds down, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) are in their kitchen, as Dani notes she must apologize to him.

Andre asks, “For what?” This is when Dani specifies: it’s not a ‘what’, but a ‘who’. Will she finally confess to her one-nighter with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett)?

Speaking of Bill, he’ll pay Dani a visit next week and confess that he thinks he’s dying. The final clip of the promo shows Bill at the office, as his hand starts shaking, and he then collapses!
