Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has been doing very well lately when it comes to “getting” over her ex, Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett). She was hitting the alcohol pretty hard some weeks back, reacting to everything he did that pushed her buttons.
After passing out and risking her life in the process from drinking too much, Dani decided on a change. She swore off the booze and moved on nicely. Still, with the recent news that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) is expecting Bill’s child, will Dani turn to drinking once again?
Dani Dupree Spirals
BTG fans saw Dani spiral rather quickly after her daughter, Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla), shared Hayley’s news during the Wednesday, May 28 episode.
Dani hit zero to 100 in seconds upon Chelsea’s announcement regarding her step-monster and even accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy.
Fans know the chances of that are slim, considering she and Bill agreed to start trying, so it sounds like Dani will continue to have delusions about how terrible Hayley is (even though most fans see that it is Bill who is manipulating his new wife).
Dani will likely have meltdown after meltdown as Hayley’s pregnancy progresses, just as she had violent outbursts every time Hayley and Bill celebrated a relationship milestone.
From their new house to their wedding and honeymoon, Dani had a nasty reaction to each and every event and would get drunk and then lash out at the situation.
Dani Turns To Booze
There’s no way Dani isn’t turning to alcohol in the aftermath of Hayley’s pregnancy news. The way Dani flipped a few weeks back and decided to refrain from drinking just seemed too easy.
Dani clearly has an alcohol problem that requires more than just her making a promise to herself and following through; she needs rehab and therapy, so this pregnancy news will likely act as a trigger to relaunch Dani’s alcoholism storyline.
Still, how much destruction will she cause before she gets help, and how many people could she continue to hurt?

I am not sure why Bagley needs to fake a pregnancy. After all, her and Bill are still newlyweds and spend a lot of time trying to make a family. What is getting tired is Dani’s jealousy and confronting the couple every time she hears something about Bill or Hayley. I don’t want to see Dani spiral down because of Bill and Hayley. They both are despicable people and don’t deserve to hold that kind of power over Dani. Stop portraying Dani as a weak, drunken, suicidal bitter ex-wife. She has 2 grown daughters who pity her and it is sad to see. I think the story gives Bill too much power and its time to turn the tables. If this is where the storyline is going, I will not watch it. It is time that Dani gets over the Bill and Hayley’s betrayal and finds her own happiness. Please bring in a new actor for Dani to focus on and flip this story in her favor. Bill and Hayley take pleasure in making Dan’s life miserable. The betrayal was bad enough, then the engagement, Bill black mailing the Dupree’s to attend his wedding, having the wedding at their country club and then buying a house near the ex-wife is a bit too much. They are rubbing it in Dani’s face. So what is Bill’s end game and why can’t he move on from his ex-wife? It seems like he wants to be the center of both Hayley and Dani’s life. It is time to turn Bill’s life upside down.
