Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Does Dani Dupree Have A Drinking Problem?

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has been spiraling since the soap’s inception.

The source of her discontent is her 35-year marriage imploding, as her hubby, Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) left her for her daughter’s best friend, Hayley Lawson-Hamilton (Marquita Goings).

As if that’s not enough, the new couple continues to flaunt their relationship in front of Dani by buying a house in the Fairmont Crest community and having their wedding at the country club.

As Dani has had meltdown after meltdown, fans can’t help but think she may also have a drinking problem.

Dani Dupree Has Been Drunk A Lot

Beyond the Gates has only been on air for four weeks, and Dani has been seen intoxicated quite a few times. In fact, the show seems to be teasing a storyline where the leading lady could be an alcoholic.

After all, the Wednesday, March 19 show closed with Dani about to finish off a bottle of Jack Daniels, when she stopped. Dani also got drunk and passed out twice this week alone; once while trashing Bill and Hayley’s new home, and once in her own house.

Is It A Drinking Problem Or A Mental Health Issue?

It’s hard to say if Dani suffers from a mental health condition like bipolar disorder; however, it is very likely she’s struggling with depression right now.

After all, she’s dealing with the end of her marriage, and it does seem as if Bill is purposely trying to trigger Dani, for whatever reason.

Maybe it’s past emotional abuse patterns from their marriage, after all, it was revealed that Bill cheated on Dani multiple times, and she just swept this under the rug.

Either way, Bill is a master manipulator and narcissist who continues to want to hurt Dani, even though he’s the one who left and betrayed her!

Still, the violent outbursts from Dani have been red flags for a deeper issue. From slapping Hayley in the middle of the country club to hitting Bill’s desk with a golf club during his client meeting, the gunshots fired at the couple’s wedding and trashing their new home: her uncontrollable rage is upset, and might the root cause or trigger for her issue with booze.
