Lastly, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will sense something is going on between Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and her husband, Doug McBride (Jason Graham).

She’s not wrong; unbeknownst to Vanessa, Doug is a gambling addict and is indebted to Joey as he racked up the losses at his casino.

Joey has a terrible plan for Doug, which makes it no surprise that he befriended Vanessa during the Monday, March 24 episode and hoped she could find his elderly mother her dream home.

She agreed to help him and felt as if she misjudged the man all this time, so Vanessa will likely play a role in Joey’s sinister plan for Doug.
