A super couple has an awkward interruption, while Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) makes a shocking discovery.

Dupree Mansion Awkwardness

Beyond the Gates spoilers remind fans that Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) have been given the green light for bedroom activities now that she’s feeling better after her chemotherapy.

The two will get into a romantic mood come the Friday, May 29 episode, only to be interrupted by their grandchildren, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon)! Yikes! Talk about #Awkward!

Elsewhere, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will talk about the fallout from the plasma ring case.

Naomi is concerned about Jacob’s mental health in the aftermath of this investigation. Still, should they also worry about the impending danger they might all face as “The Impaler” still lingers in the shadows?

Joey Armstrong’s Discovery

Across town, Joey will turn to Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) for help with a problem, and quickly discover things aren’t right with his ‘friend’.

Bill’s hand has been shaking quite a bit this week, so it sounds like the casino owner will take notice.

Still, will Joey put two-and-two together and realize that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) is behind all this?

Leslie Thomas’ Alliance

Finally, Beyond the Gates spoilers for May 29 hint that Leslie will try, once again, to forge an alliance with Hayley. Anytime Leslie is alone with Hayley, she’s attempted to partner up with the woman, but Bill’s wife has refused.

Leslie knows Hayley is up to something and knows that the two could be so much more powerful working on the same team. With that said, Hayley still has to agree to this. Will she finally cave?
