Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Is Dani Delusional Or Is Bill Still In Love With Her?

Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that just as Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) thought she was over Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett), her ex-husband pulled a stunt that sucked her back in!
During the Monday, March 10 episode, Dani was arrested for the shots she fired during Bill and Hayley Lawson’s (Marquita Goings) wedding. For all the drama she endured, Bill ended up dropping the charges, which, ironically left Dani feeling as if he was still in love with her.

Time To Break It All Down

During the week of March 3-7, Dani went to visit Hayley to let her know that she was over her and Bill’s betrayal. Dani made it clear that she was ready to move on and leave the past in the past.

Fast forward to the Friday, March 7 episode, and Dani gathered her family together to let them know that she was done sulking about Bill and ready to live her life!

As the Dupree family started celebrating Dani’s newfound happiness, her son-in-law cop, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) crashed the party to arrest her, based on Bill’s charge.

As Dani was being booked, Hayley caught wind of her arrest, went to the station, and demanded Bill drop the charges. While she wasn’t sorry that she fell in love with Bill, Hayley was sorry at the heartache she caused Dani and the rest of the Dupree family.

Under his new wife’s request, Bill did drop the charges and Dani was released. Still, Hayley wasn’t impressed by Bill’s actions, and it looks like these two are starting their marriage off on a sour note.

Is Dani Delusional?

Once Dani was released, she headed home with her parents. She had a heart-to-heart with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), where she revealed she was still in love with Bill.

Dani viewed the arrest and then the dropping of the charges as Bill’s way of trying to keep her in his orbit, as she had just told him and his bride, that she was ready to move on.

She believed that the arrest and dropping of the charges was just a way to keep him in her mind. She also confessed that she would have Bill back if he wanted a reunion.

Dani has a point, but at the same time, seems a tad delusional. On the one hand, why would Bill care to see Dani get punished? He should be celebrating his new wife and heading on a honeymoon! Dani promised no more drama last week, so why bring on new drama?

On the other hand, would he have dropped the charges unless Hayley had insisted? Why is he so bent on making Dani pay?
