Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Is Kat Being A Brat, Or Is She Justified In Her Actions Against Eva?

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest things are getting ugly between Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). The two recently had a massive confrontation and have not seen eye-to-eye since the day Eva started her temporary assistant job. While she’s justified in her suspicion of Eva, is Kat justified in how she has lashed back at the young woman or is acting like a spoiled brat?

Kat Richardson’s Spidey-Senses Are Tingling

Everyone, including Kat’s parents, Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) and Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) seem to think that she’s acting like a brat. There’s no reason (in their opinion) for her to treat Eva the way she is treating her.

Nicole and Ted seem like humble people who appreciate the place they are in and make a conscious effort to treat their employees with respect and like they are part of the family.

Kat was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, so it’s easy for anyone to think that she’s out of line.

Especially since the way she has spoken to Eva is demeaning. Kat’s delivery definitely needs work; however, as fans know Eva does have a sinister plan to bring down the Richardson family, thanks to her mom, Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). She is up to no good, just as Kat suspects, so how stupid will Nicole and Ted feel when the truth comes out?

Sister Versus Sister

Eva being the unknown sister of Kat, and the two women clashing is a classic soap storyline. Especially since Kat grew up in the lap of luxury and Eva grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.

Eva’s bound to get caught red-handed (maybe not anytime soon, but eventually) and when the truth does come out, the assistant’s paternity bombshell will blow up, too.

Eva being Kat’s sister won’t soften either woman’s stance on the other, so how sticky will things get between these two women? They may eventually become friends, but it’ll get far messier before it gets better.
