Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Kat And Eva Switched After Birth

Beyond The Gates spoilers indicate that Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) are only three weeks apart, as their birthdays are fairly close in date.

Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is hell bent on revenge against Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) for leaving her to go back to his wife Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix). (Make sure to check out our next week Beyond The Gates spoilers, here!)

Ted does not know that Leslie was still pregnant with his child, and believes that Leslie had an abortion.

However, Leslie definitely gave birth to that child and she claims that the child is Eva. However, what if that is not actually true and a scheming Leslie got back at Ted and Nicole years ago.

Leslie Thomas Came Up With A Shocking Plot

Leslie allegedly gave birth to her daughter three weeks after Nicole gave birth to her own daughter. Leslie had an evil plan of mind of revenge in order to get back at Ted for leaving her.

She decided that she was going to switch her own daughter that was fathered by Ted, with Ted and Nicole’s biological daughter, and take that daughter and raise her as her own. That child would be Eva.

Then, she would let Ted and Nicole raise her daughter believing it was their own. Leslie did this because she wanted her own daughter to be raised in high society, and grow up with the advantages of being a Dupree.

Meanwhile, she did want a baby off her own to hold over Ted’s head years later.

Leslie Thomas Snuck Into The Richardson Home And Switched The Babies

Shortly after her daughter was born, Leslie snuck into the Richardson home with her daughter (now would today be known as Kat), and switched the baby (now would be known today as Eva) that was in the Richardson nursery. She did it quickly and easily and no one suspected anything.

Leslie’s daughter was around the same size as Nicole’s daughter, so no one really noticed the difference. Leslie raised Ted and Nicole’s daughter as their own, and have no idea that they have been raising Ted and Leslie’s daughter all this time.

The Switch Makes Sense

It is not implausible that Kat could actually be Leslie’s daughter, and she seems to act a lot like Leslie. Kat can catch a schemer a mile away, and is always suspicious of people’s motives. Kat is also quick on her feet just like Leslie.

Eva is more moral than Leslie would like, and Eva seems to be growing closer to Ted and Nicole, and is tired of Leslie’s lies. Leslie wants Eva to be more like her, but the simple fact is that she may not actually be her daughter, and has more scruples than Leslie ever could.
