Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, May 5, reveal some explosive moments in the aftermath of Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary celebration, and Leslie Thomas’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) bombshell.

Eva Thomas Has Proof She’s A Richardson
Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, May 5 suggest that both the Dupree and Richardson families will reel. The news about Ted’s affair with Leslie will continue to rock everyone, and the declaration that Eva is his daughter will be hard to shake.
The good news is that even though some may question whether or not Eva is really Ted’s daughter, all this will be put to rest once she shows the DNA test proof that they are related. Will she be accepted by her extended family?

Ted Richardson Heads To A Hotel
At this point, it’s hard to say if Ted will accept Eva. Still, as she ultimately threw Leslie under the bus and tried to stop her from spilling her affair secret, it sounds like she won’t be able to go “home” to her apartment.
BTG spoilers note that Nicole will kick Ted out of the Richardson mansion on Monday’s show, and he’ll head to a hotel. The promo for the week of May 5-9 shows Eva arriving at her dad’s hotel room, asking if she can stay as she has nowhere else to go.

The Dupree Family Supports One Another
In other news, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), Chelsea Dupree (RhonniRose Mantilla), as well as Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), will all be together during Monday’s show, as they try and support each other during this trying time.
After all, they aren’t only mourning Ted’s lie, they are also hurting over how Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) helped cover up his brother-in-law’s affair and child, too.

The Beyond the Gates promo for next week shows the Duprees, still dressed in their anniversary party attire, gathered around Anita’s piano.
This is when Vernon makes a prediction by stating, “It’s a long, dark night Duprees. We don’t know how long the darkness will last, but the sun will rise!”
