Beyond The Gates Spoilers: Ted Is Not Eva’s Father – Leslie Tampered With DNA Test?

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that the week of May 5-9 will center around the aftermath of Leslie Thomas’s (Trish Mann-Grant) bombshell drop at Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) and Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) anniversary party.

Nicole learned that Ted not only had an affair with Leslie, hid it for decades, and it also resulted in an illegitimate child, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).

Both Leslie and Eva had DNA documentation to back up the fact that Eva is Ted’s daughter, but is this legit? (Make sure to check out our next week Beyond The Gates spoilers, here!)

Leslie Thomas Is A Liar

When it comes to Leslie, the only thing that fans can count on is that she is probably lying. She lied to Ted about terminating her pregnancy; she lied to Eva about her father knowing that she existed; she even lied about leaving town when Ted gave her $50,000 recently.

In fact, Leslie doesn’t only lie, she manipulates. She manipulated Nicole into believing she was a woman named Sherry; she manipulated Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) and had her believing she was a woman named Anna.

She even manipulated Mona Wilson (Karan Kendrick) and Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs) into believing that she was a normal, everyday, working woman with a good heart.

In fact, it was her connection to Mona and the wool she pulled over the woman’s eyes that helped Eva land the gig as the Richardson family’s temporary assistant, to get the whole “affair reveal” scheme rolling.

The whole point is, if Leslie is claiming that Eva is Ted’s, should anyone believe her … even with documentation?

Leslie’s A Master Of Disguise

On top of everything else, Leslie has a massive selection of wigs that help her disguise her true identity. Fans have seen her sneak into different places because of these wigs, and recently, Leslie pretended to be a nurse at the hospital.

That was to inject Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) with potassium, to ensure she wasn’t released anytime soon. If Leslie was able to do something like that, who’s to say she didn’t tamper – or hire someone to tamper with – Eva’s DNA test?
