Nicole Richardson Tries To Get To The Bottom Of Things

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, April 24, imply that Nicole will attempt to find out what’s really wrong with her assistant, Laura Peterson (Destiny Love).

As fans know, Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) ran the poor girl off the road to ensure there was an employment opening at the Richardson home.

Her daughter Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) applied for the temporary job of being Nicole’s assistant; however, as Laura was on the cusp of a full recovery from her car crash recently, Leslie donned a disguise, entered the hospital as a “nurse” and sneaked into the girl’s room.

She injected a substance into her IV, causing her an infection. As such, Laura remained hospital-bound and was unable to return to her life, thus ensuring Eva stayed on as the Richardson family’s assistant.

This was all done to help Leslie’s plan to expose her affair with Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson).

Still, Nicole’s a therapist, not a doctor, so will she be able to figure out that someone has tampered with Laura’s IV?

Doug McBride Battles His Demons

Across town, Doug will fight hard to ward off his demons, so this sounds gambling-related. Will Doug refrain from going to the casino to gamble? Is this the point in his story where he realizes things have gone too far and he finally seeks help?

Vanessa McBride’s Deal With Joey Armstrong

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday hint, it might be too late for Doug. That’s because Vanessa is set to make a deal with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). Will Vanessa learn about Doug’s gambling problem from Joey? Will she find out how much debt he’s in?
