Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, January 8, indicate some massive moments in Fairmont Crest. Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is planning something mysterious, while Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) and Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) will clash.

Anita Dupree’s Mysterious Plan

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, January 8, reveal that Anita will plan something mysterious that involves the Dupree family.

It looks like the Dupree matriarch is trying to plan a party for all her loved ones before she heads into chemotherapy on Friday, so will she be able to pull this off?

Meanwhile, her daughters will get support from their men. Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) will comfort Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix), while Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will “distract” Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley).

Cousin Vs. Cousin

Across town, Kat and Chelsea will clash, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why. Ever since Kat has heard the news about her grandmother’s breast cancer and the genetic markers, she’s spiraled.

Unlike her sibling and cousins, Kat refuses to get tested if her mom, Nicole, tests positive for the markers. Everyone is hoping both Dani and Nicole’s tests are negative; however, if they are positive, everyone but Kat will get tested.

It’s out of character for these cousins, business partners, and besties to clash, but it looks like Chelsea will try to convince Kat to get tested. Will she get through to her?

In other related news, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will lean on a friend. It looks like Naomi will tell someone close to her, perhaps Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) or maybe June (Jasmine Burke), what’s going on in her life. It’s good that Naomi will get some support, outside of her family and Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).

What’s Wrong With Tyrell Richardson

Finally, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, note that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will struggle to figure out what’s bothering Tyrell.

As fans know, he clashed with his grandmother, Nicole, during the January 7 show, and he can’t seem to sway Jessica (Camryn Jade) from her idea to leave town for college.

He’s also taking the news about his great-grandmother hard (understandably so). Can Martin and Smitty do anything to help their son?
