Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) was given a search warrant for Leslie Thomas’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) apartment, so will the police find something incriminating?
Then again, this could be about Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) scoring a close-up of Leslie, as she tried to grill him at the diner for information regarding the security footage from his documentary.

Andre poked at Leslie after he took the snapshot of her face with his phone, stating he had software and could help police link her as the woman in the video, but was this all talk, or could he help the cops nail her?
Laura Peterson Needs Help
Across town, Laura will get caught in a jam and need some assistance. Still, who will she turn to for help? It looks like Laura will officially be back at the Richardson mansion, recovered and ready to dive back into her work as the family’s assistant.
With that said, who will she reach out to for some assistance? It was only some weeks ago that Eva had filled in for Laura, so is she the person Laura calls?

Speaking of Eva, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday hint that she’ll make a confession, which Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) is able to encourage out of her.
What could this be about? Will she tell her father that she has her mom’s boots and helmet from the night of Laura’s accident, or is this about something else?

In other news, Sharon’s (Bonita Brisker) bitterness seems to threaten any reunion plans the Articulettes may have had.
Then again, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) doesn’t seem too excited about bringing her and her singing sisters back together, considering the secret she revealed to Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) during the June 4 episode.
Sadly, there was a fourth Articulette who took her own life after the slimy producer decided to cut her from the group, and Anita didn’t fight him on it.
Anita doesn’t seem overly enthusiastic about heading out on a reunion tour during Wednesday’s show after having an emotional breakdown, so mix that in with Sharon’s animosity, and the ladies may never press the button on this reunion idea.
