Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, March 12, imply that Deanna will embarrass her mom, Vanessa.

Anyone who’s seen the weekly preview knows this will all go down at Uptown, as Deanna lets Vanessa know that SHE knows the blonde is more than “just friends and business partners” with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).

Vanessa looks horrified during the clip, as Deanna causes a scene in the bar, with her brother, Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) in the background, and Eva present, as well. Will Vanessa be okay? Will Deanna be okay? Fans will have to tune in to find out.

Eva Thomas Is Proud

Meanwhile, it’s usually Eva causing a scene with her whacked-out mother, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant); however, this time around, Eva will be proud of Leslie.

Off the cusp of the Doug McBride (Jason Graham) Free Clinic press conference, the daughter, who is usually mortified by her mom’s actions, will applaud Leslie’s efforts.

These two ladies are generally at each other’s throats, so it’ll be nice to see some feel-good moments between Leslie and Eva.

Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday hint that Kial will dish out some advice, but who will he offer some words of wisdom?
