• Heather meets with Hayley

Dupree Women Remain Optimistic

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, October 15, suggest that Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will try to stay optimistic.

This might be about Bradley “Smitty” Smith’s (Mike Manning) recent arrest.

Considering how badly the odds are stacked against him, it’s hard to remain hopeful.

The Duprees have already been forced to defend their family as Smitty faces a nightmare, and Martin’s political future could make matters even more complicated.

Meanwhile, Martin will make a bold statement, but he’ll soon get derailed.

Martin is adamant about standing by Smitty’s side during all of this, even though it could jeopardize his re-election efforts.

Will Smitty’s charges bring this super couple closer together or destroy their romance?

Bill Hamilton’s Rejection

Across town, Bill will want more from Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) than she can give him.

Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) has been pushing back against being the “understanding husband” and has told Dani she needs to back off her ex-hubby.

Andre has already clashed with Dani over her continued involvement with Bill, so another disappointment could complicate matters further.

That being said, Bill will spend time with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) as the men discover they share common ground.

Dealing with the Dupree women can be very confusing, so Ted and Bill may bond over their complaints!

Joey Armstrong’s Bombshell

Over at the casino, Beyond the Gates spoilers for October 15 reveal that Joey will tell Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) something that leaves her completely caught off guard.

Will he tell the blonde that his sister, Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones), is The Impaler?

Heather recently backtracked during a conversation with Joey and Vanessa, making her next move even more intriguing.

Then again, there’s so much going on in the DMV right now that this could be about something else.

Speaking of Heather, it sounds like she’ll meet up with Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings).

All signs point to Hayley and Heather forming an alliance, so how much trouble can these two women stir up?

Annemarie’s Take

I think Martin standing by Smitty could be one of the most interesting developments this week.

He’s risking his political future, but abandoning Smitty when he needs him most would be even worse.

I’m also curious about Joey’s bombshell. If Heather really is The Impaler, Vanessa could be in for a terrifying surprise!

And Heather teaming up with Hayley? That sounds like trouble waiting to happen.
