Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, imply that Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will deal with a work/family conflict, while Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) falls into a trap.

Jacob Hawthorne’s Conflict

Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, suggest that Jacob will feel as if he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to family and work. Could this be about him grilling Smitty?

This week’s promo shows Smitty being interrogated, which will shock him since Jacob will ask the man questions about Lia Whitmore’s (Cecelia Specht) passing like he’s a suspect.

In related teasers, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will ride to Smitty’s defense during Tuesday’s show, so at least he’ll have an awesome lawyer by his side.

Still, Jacob may feel torn about having to “grill” Smitty about Lia’s death (since Smitty was the last person to speak with her before her death).

Jacob knows Smitty didn’t kill Lia, but he’ll have to follow his dad’s, Elon Hawthorne’s (Malachi Malik), orders.

Ted Richardson’s Trap

Across town, Ted will be sabotaged, as someone attempts to make him look bad. Sounds like this has everything to do with him meeting Shanice Johnson’s (Ernestine Johnson) two brothers!

All arrows are pointing toward this all ending in disaster, so fans need to tune in to watch the drama fly!

In addition, actor Denzell Dandridge will debut as Lamont Johnson during Tuesday’s show, while Khiry Walker plays Shanice’s other brother, Cedric Johnson.

Anita Dupree Confronts Leslie Thomas

Lastly, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, reveal that Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will clash.

Anita tried to iron out a deal with Leslie, since she needs the women’s approval to allow Barbara Mitchell’s voice on the next Articulettes album.

Still, Leslie had a long list of outrageous demands before she agreed, all of which Anita disapproved of.

While it does sound like the women will fight on the September 8 show, could they also come to some sort of resolution?
