‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Week of April 27-May 1: Tomas Needs Vanessa, Vernon’s Sacrifice, Naomi’s Hayley Suspicions

Beyond the Gates spoilers note that the CBS soap will be pre-empted on Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, due to coverage for the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The daytime drama will appear on its regularly scheduled timeslot on all the other days of next week.

Tomas Navarro Corners Vanessa McBride

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of April 27-May 1 indicate that Tomas will turn to Vanessa for intel on Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison). The woman is MIA, and Tomas is very curious about her disappearance.

As Vanessa was Lynette’s real estate agent, Tomas is hoping that she’ll have some information on where the woman could be, but can the blonde help? Maybe she’ll provide valuable evidence she won’t realize is valuable.

As the week comes to an end, Tomas will provide an update on the search for Lynette. Will it be a good update, or has he reached a dead end?

Vernon Dupree’s Sacrifice

Across town, Vernon will make a huge sacrifice when he tells Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) that he’ll incur Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) debt to him.

Martin “owes” Joey for a couple of things, first and foremost, helping cover up his situation years ago when he killed a man in self-defense, but also with the assistance surrounding Chelsea Hamilton’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) kidnapping, more recently. Will Joey agree to this favor switcheroo?

In other Dupree news, Chelsea and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will confront Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant).

Shanice Johnson Is Hurt

Over at the hospital, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) will be hurt when she sees a tender moment between Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix). It will be the exes’ anniversary this week, and the two will find a way to commemorate the event.

It doesn’t sound like anything romantic is planned, but this might still rub Shanice the wrong way. In fact, Martin and Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will plot to help their parents celebrate, so what do they have planned?

Plus, Terrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) and his girlfriend, Jessica (Camryn Jade), will talk about their romance. Could this mean that the twosome decides to take their relationship to the next level?

Meanwhile, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) will try to get some information from Ted. This has “plasma ring” written all over it! Will Ted get suspicious?

The Plasma Ring Storyline Intensifies

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of April 27 suggest the plasma ring storyline will continue to dominate the canvas.

Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will worry that Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) won’t deliver, and he’ll be concerned that both of their lives are in danger because of it. Meanwhile, Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) will issue a threat.

Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) will also get involved in the action as the good nurse breaks the rules to help out. Yikes! This is ssooo not like Ashley at all, so what will she do?

Naomi Hawthorne’s World

Lastly, Naomi will raise an eyebrow when she sees Hayley acting nonchalantly about a serious situation concerning Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett).

As the week winds to a close, she’ll also confront her father about his feelings for her mom, his ex, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley). What will Bill’s response be?

Lastly, Dr. Madison Montgomery (Kenjah) will get distracted at work and decide to dive into something new. Will she decide to leave the medicine field for another career? Only time will tell.
