Beyond the Gates

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of December 29-January 2 imply some major bombshells on the horizon. The Dupree family reels over scary news, while Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) pulls back in a relationship.

Plus, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) shocks Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). Find out about all the drama that’s set to hit Fairmont Crest next week, down below.

Pre-emption Alert

Before we dive into storylines, it’s important to note that Beyond the Gates’ Wednesday, December 31 episode will be preempted.

CBS will air Sun Bowl coverage during its timeslot, but no need to fret, BTG fans, as the soap will resume its regular schedule as of Thursday, January 1.

Anita Dupree Reveals Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of December 29-January 2 note that, as Christmas has passed, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will decide to tell the family her breast cancer diagnosis news.

It sounds like Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will be the first to find out, and this will flip their worlds upside down.

As the week progresses, Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) will find out about their grandmother, as well as Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit).

In addition, Dani will attempt to tell Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) about her mom; however, it sounds like Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) will be rubbed the wrong way when an emotional Dani attempts to talk to Bill.

The Aftermath

Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that the news about Anita will cause Kat and Martin to have an argument. Here’s hoping it’s just a light disagreement, as the siblings will need to be strong for their grandmother’s sake.

Meanwhile, Dani will try to be there for Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), who will be struggling in the aftermath of Anita’s news. Plus, Bill will try to offer some unsolicited advice to his former mother-in-law. Will Anita listen to what Bill has to say?

Elsewhere, Martin will come clean with Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) about something, while Kat decides to hide information from Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria).

Leslie Thomas Shocks Joey Armstrong

In an interesting twist, Leslie will catch Joey off guard when she presents a proposal to him. What could this be about? It sounds like an alliance could be in the works between these two, so should Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) be concerned?

In other news, Eva will pull back from Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe). During the Beyond the Gates promo for next week, Izaiah refers to Eva as his girlfriend, which will shock her; however, will this be a “happy” surprise or a scary one for Eva?

Fairmont Crest Ushers In The New Year With A Special Guest

New Year’s Eve celebrations will be in full swing next week, as Fairmont Crest ushers in 2026. As such, fans can expect R&B singer Kenny Lattimore to appear during the Tuesday, December 30 episode.

Lattimore will share some of his hits as he performs at Uptown. Speaking of NYE celebrations, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) will share a steamy kiss as the clock strikes midnight, so it’ll be interesting to see how far things will progress between these two by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, by the time Friday, January 2, hits, Ted will stun one of his daughters. With that said, will it be Eva or Kat – and what exactly shocks them?

Lastly, it’ll be the same old/same old when Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) have an awkward conversation.
