Both Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Nicole will admit just how much of a pull they have towards the exes, Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) in light of this crisis.

Speaking of Anita, she’ll get a visit from an old friend that catches her off guard, and added teasers hint that things will get tense. Who will surprise Anita and could their conversation get ugly?

As the week winds down, Anita will make a mysterious plan, and it sounds like she’ll organize a family party before she heads into her breast cancer treatment, come Friday, January 9.

In other news, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will attempt to distract Dani from her sorrow, mid-week, and she’ll get some sage advice from Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). Could this be about her conflicted feelings for Bill?

As the weekend hits, it sounds like both Dani and Nicole will receive their results from the genetic marker testing. Will it be more bad news for both sisters, or just one of them?

Across town, Vanessa will get some distressing news. She’ll immediately rush to Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) for comfort, so could she learn about Anita’s breast cancer?

Regardless, she’ll have a request for him in the aftermath of it all. While on the topic of the casino owner, he’ll have an interesting proposal for Leslie Thomas (Trish Mann-Grant). Will he decide to help her with her free clinic project?

Over at the hospital, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) shares a steamy secret with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob). Will she tell her fellow nurse about the NYE smooch with Ted?

Nicole Dupree Clashes With Her Grandson

Before we dive into Nicole and Tyrell’s clash, it’s important to note that a day before the grandmother and grandson get into it, Tyrell will face an issue with his girlfriend, Jessica (Camryn Jade).

Whatever obstacle they face could spill over to his family life, as BTG spoilers hint that Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) will feel guilty as Nicole and Tyrell fight over a family function.

As the days go by, both Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) will worry about what’s going on with Tyrell, so what will go down between him and Jessica that has him acting odd?

On a positive note, Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) will comfort Nicole, so these two will continue to bond. On a negative note, Martin will have bad news for Vernon, during the January 9 episode. What now?

It looks like Kat will continue to dig her heels about getting tested if Nicole receives a positive for the cancer genetic markers. Still, will arguing about it change Kat’s mind? Likely not!
