‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers Weekly Update May 19-23: Anita’s Reunion, Leslie’s Accusation, Ashley’s Heartbreak

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of May 19-23 state some explosive moments in the land of Fairmont Crest.

Anita Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie) past collides with her present, while Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) may make a wild accusation.

Plus, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) suffers from heartbreak. Time to dive into what fans should expect from the CBS soap during the week of May 19!

Anita Dupree’s Reunion

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of May 19-23 reveal that Anita will share a reunion with her former girl group band member from The Articulette, Tracy (Maria Howell). The BTG weekly preview shows a warm reconnection as the two hug.

However, will Tracy flirt with Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and rub Anita the wrong way? Anita does offer a warning to her former singing sister during a promo clip, so here’s hoping there’s no friction off the bat!

With that said, as the week goes by, Anita and Tracy will unpack some old wounds and talk about the betrayal that tore them apart. But will they be able to move forward, or will they feel stuck in the past?

Leslie Thomas’s Accusation

Meanwhile, there’s a good chance that Leslie will throw out an accusation against Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). The last fans saw her; she was being hauled off to the police station by Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).

He obtained a video from Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) where Leslie *almost* confessed (kind of implied) to running Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) off the road.

With that said, Kat also accuses Eva as the one who was behind Laura’s collision, and thinks that she’s involved somehow, so will Leslie lie to save herself?

As the days go by, added teasers suggest that Eva will lean in to the “one person” who believes her, so it sounds like either Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) or possibly Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) may be someone she turns to.

Eva Thomas’ Decision

By mid-week, BTG spoilers reveal that Eva will have a hard decision to make where her mom is concerned. In fact, it also sounds like she and Leslie will have a confrontation as she’ll attempt to push back from her mother’s delusions.

With that said, Eva won’t be the only one having a face-off with Leslie, as Ted will also corner his ex and throw out a terrible accusation of his own. The only silver lining about all this is that it sounds like this situation may bring Eva and Ted that much closer.

However, if Leslie has (fake) proof that Eva was the one to run Laura down, the legal ramifications may be too much for the young woman.

Ashley Morgan’s Heartbreak

Across town, Ashley will suffer some heartbreak. It looks as if she and Derek will have a fight about their living arrangements early on in the week, and Ashley may turn to Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) to vent.

The Beyond the Gates preview for the week of May 19-23 shows Ashley and Andre embracing, just as Derek is at the door, so the firefighter may find the two ‘friends’ in a compromising position and call it quits. Ashley will be devastated, but considering their moving in together was a bust, maybe this is for the best?

In an interesting turn of events, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will attempt to define her situationship with Andre. But will there be anything to define if Ashley is single? Andre may decide to pivot!

Week of May 19-23, 2025

In other news, Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) will open up about exactly who she is … but who does she open up to? Will she make an announcement on social media? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Elsewhere, Doug McBride (Jason Graham) will have quite a week. First, he’ll scramble to cover up his gambling lies (and debt), but as the weekend hits, he’ll connect the dots regarding Vanessa McBride’s (Lauren Buglioli) ‘friendship’ with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).

Sounds like Vanessa and Joey may cross a line in the days ahead, so it’ll be interesting to see how Doug comes to the conclusion he comes to.

Lastly, it’ll be the ‘same old, same old’ between Martin and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) as the journalist dad gets frustrated with his hubby’s lack of communication.
