Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest soap fans are about a week away from the massive premiere of this historic soap.
Still, before the Fairmont Crest gates are officially opened to viewers and the drama is unleashed, some stars of the new show offered up some reasons on why viewers should tune in.
BTG Cast Has Been Building Up Excitement On Social Media
BTG’s cast and executive team have been helping build the excitement on social media, with posts and videos on X, as well as Instagram and IG Stories.
Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hamilton) recently posted a fun video on Instagram, along with BTG co-stars Colby Muhammad (Kat Richardson), and Rhonni Rose (Chelsea Hamilton).
Dancing to Beyonce’s ‘Diva’, the words, “Reasons to watch Beyond the Gates” flash across the screen.
As the women continue to get down, the following “reasons” to tune into BTG flashed across the video:
First daytime drama to premiere in 25 years
First hour long daytime drama featuring a predominantly black cast
Black female Executive Producers
First Black creator of a daytime soap opera
First production of the CBS/NAACP venture
Premiering Feb. 24 on CBS and Paramount+
The caption read, “The Dupree Girls Naomi, Chelsea and Kat, strike again! Comment below if you plan on watching February 24th!”
The Family Ties
Naomi, Chelsea, and Kat are cousins on the soap, with the first two being sisters. Naomi and Chelsea are the offspring of Dani Dupree’s (Karla Mosley) and Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett).
Meanwhile, Kat is the daughter of Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) – who happens to be Dani’s sister – and Kat’s dad is Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson).
Regardless, it’s amazing to see BTG’s co-stars having fun and creating a buzz about the new and groundbreaking soap.
BTG is scheduled to premiere on Monday, February 24 at 2 p.m. ET on CBS, streaming on Paramount+ after the fact.
Still, fans can tune in the week prior to the big debut, for a BTG special, ‘Welcome to the Neighborhood’, which is slated to air from Monday, February 17-Friday, February 21 during the 2:00-2:30 ET timeslot.
Each 30-minute episode will introduce viewers to the new soap and offer backstage exclusives, hosted by the Entertainment Tonight team.
