Beyond The Gates’ Timon Durrett Talks Bill & Hayley Lasting The Long Haul

Beyond the Gates spoilers note that fans never got to see the love affair and true marital dynamics between Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), as the soap’s first major storyline was the aftermath of Bill leaving his wife for his daughter’s best friend, Hayley Lawson-Hamilton (Marquita Goings).

Many fans have questioned whether or not Hayley’s intentions were innocent or if she purposely tried to steal Bill away from Dani. Does Hayley love Bill? Timon Durrett recently spoke with Soaps.com to add some insight.

There’s Love Between Bill & Hayley

Timon Durrett tells Soaps.com that there is love between Hayley and Bill, but adds that, “… when you have power and money and prestige added to that, it can shake things up.”

Durrett goes on to say, “It adds a level of difference in that ‘This is new, this is love, but with it comes access and expectations from other people.’”

The actor also relays, “I know there’s love there. Hayley loves Bill, and Bill loves Hayley. But that power dynamic can be alluring in a way that kind of clouds one’s understanding of the circumstances at hand.”

Bayley’s Challenges

As most everyone at Fairmont Crest is #TeamDani, Bill and Hayley – especially Hayley – have had an uphill battle when it comes to gaining acceptance within the community.

Hayley’s had to deal with staff not serving her at the country club, and challenges in gaining access to services. Still, Hayley has persevered, trying to put her best foot forward.

With that said, Hayley has also had some struggles evolving from girlfriend to wife. From the sounds of things, Bill has duped her when it comes to his marriage to Dani. Many have mentioned that Bill was a cheater, so is Hayley aware of his wandering eye?

She seems to think he’s the perfect man and has often fluffed off that he would leave her the same way he left Dani.
