Vaughan uploaded a photo of himself with the following caption on it. It appeared on many of his social media platforms.

The caption read, “My heart is full. My purpose is just getting started.”

It went on to say, “My life, my family, the people who consistently show up, and the lessons that shaped me.”

The caption added, “Every challenge has become preparation. Every blessing has become perspective… I’m simply grateful for how far God has brought me, and excited for everything that’s still ahead.”

Vaughan’s post also had, “Thank you to everyone who’s been part of my journey. Family. Friends. Fans. Colleagues. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.”

The last line of his social media caption read, “Here’s to the next chapter”

Greg Vaughan’s Cryptic Social Media Post Hints Beyond the Gates’ Exit

BTG Colleague Triggers Speculation

Vaughan hasn’t announced his departure from Beyond the Gates, nor has the show noted he is leaving; however, the social media post itself seems like he is.

With that said, one comment from a colleague has fueled the fire around this idea. In Vaughan’s Instagram comments, Beyond the Gates co-star Robert Christopher Riley (Dr. Carlton Fitzgearld), wrote, “Love and Miss ya buddy.”

This is interesting since Beyond the Gates films about four months in advance of broadcast. Vaughan’s social media message also comes off the cusp of Kial’s son, Noah Rollins, played by Nick Hagelin, debuting on the show during the July 22 episode.

All arrows are pointing toward a romance between Noah and Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley).

Vaughan is a Daytime Emmy winner and joined Beyond the Gates in this recurring role in December 2025.

The actor is also known for his work on General Hospital, playing a recast of Lucky Spencer from 2003 to 2009, as well as his time on Days of Our Lives, playing Eric Brady; a role he stepped into in 2012.
