Is Beyond the Gates Planning Crossover Storylines With CBS Sister Soaps – Here’s What We Know

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that the soap is close to wrapping up week two on the airwaves and creating quite the buzz in the land of daytime drama.

Still, will fans see the new show develop any crossover storylines with its other CBS sister soaps?

CBS Is On Fire With Daytime Dramas

Before Beyond the Gates debuted, CBS held a premiere screening and invited some of its daytime drama stars from its other soaps to attend.

Actors and actresses from The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as The Young and the Restless, attended the event, and offered some rave reviews, while also welcoming the new show to the CBS daytime drama line-up!

Interestingly enough, the Y&R’s Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings) mentioned Soaps.com during a December 2024 trip that he’s excited about possibly doing crossover storylines with Beyond the Gates. But will the soap decide to go that route?

Are Crossovers Happening?

It’s important to note that as of this writing, nothing has been confirmed by either Beyond the Gates, The Young and the Restless, or Bold and the Beautiful about a possible crossover storyline.

When Bold debuted back in 1987, they didn’t dive into the world of Genoa City with a crossover storyline until six years later, in 1993.

With that said, it’s not known if fans will have to wait six years (or more) to see the likes of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), or Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) shmoozing with the likes of Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis), Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), or Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman). At this point, fans need to get comfortable with the characters that inhabit the land of Fairmont Crest.

Still, considering how popular crossovers can be, perhaps this will all happen sooner rather than later!? It would be fun to see some BTG stars hop over to the Y&R or B&B (and vice versa).
