Jason Vendryes Set To Join ‘Beyond The Gates’ As Mysterious Character Linked To Martin & Vernon

Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest a new face is about to pop up in the land of Fairmont Crest. Actor Jason Vendryes is slated to join the new soap opera, playing a mysterious character named Kenny, a recurring role.

According to Deadline, Kenny is someone who will be in both the lives of Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and his grandad, Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). More on this story below.

Beyond the Gates spoilers imply that Jason Vendryes’ ‘Kenny’ character is scheduled to debut sometime in May, which is timely since next month is a ‘sweeps month’.

Kenny is set to start watching both Vernon and Martin, but no one will be sure of what he’s up to.

Martin has a secret he’s been hiding, and fans have been on the edge of their seats trying to figure out what it is.

The only other people that know about Martin’s secret is Vernon, Martin’s grandmother, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), as well as slimeball lawyer, Bill Hamilton (Timon Durett).

Will Kenny be linked to this secret? Whatever it is, BTG spoilers reveal that it’s causing violent dreams while Martin sleeps, which is quite disturbing to his husband, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning).

Plus, Martin’s grandparents are desperate to keep their grandson’s secret underwraps.

Jason Vendryes’ Acting Resume

The actor is currently on the BET series, Ruthless, playing Agent Slomkowski. He’ll also been seen in a soon-to-be-released film, One Spoon of Chocolate, directed and written by RZA.

Others participating in the movie include Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, Shameik Moore, and Blair Underwood.

In addition, Vendryes has appeared in the Tyler Perry show, Too Close to Home, as well as OWN’s Ambitions, and Amazon’s Living V.

With that said, it sounds like this will be the actor’s first stint in the land of daytime drama!
