Jon Lindstrom Talks Beyond The Gates & His Sketchy Character “Joey Armstrong”Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest that mere days away from the debut of the soap, and fans have been buzzing about the new cast announcement.

It was revealed this week that General Hospital’s (GH) Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain) would be entering the world of the Fairmont Crest gated community, along with soap opera veteran, Cady McClain.

Lindstrom recently provided more insight into his new BTG character, ‘Joey Armstrong’.

Jon Lindstrom Shares Excitement On Social Media

Lindstrom hopped on the social media platform X recently and commented on his new soapy gig. In the post, he acknowledges that he’s been quiet as of late, but not because he wanted to be.

The actor states in the caption that he kept a low profile – and audiences know this was likely so that he didn’t spill the beans before they were supposed to be spilled.

In the caption he writes about his ‘commute’ to the ‘wonderful world of’ BTG, adding the show was, “… created by my brilliant dear friend, Michele Val Jean”.

As some soap audiences may or may not know, Val Jean is not only the creator of BTG, but also the head writer, and one of the executive producers.

Linstrom goes on to note that he believes the show will ‘blow the roof off daytime’, and he adds, “I could not be more proud to make even a small contribution to this ground-breaker.”

Lindstrom Reveals Joey Armstrong’s Shadiness

In the X post, Lindstrom goes on to say that he’ll be stepping into the shoes of Joey Armstrong on BTS. The actor notes, “Call him an ‘entrepreneur’ … unless you owe him money. Joey owns a casino and, much like me, one thing he doesn’t like is debt. Difference being I won’t take your hand off if you owe me $10.”

Yikes! Sounds like Armstrong will help bring the drama to BTG when the historic soap premieres on Monday, February 24 at 2 p.m. ET on CBS, following the Young and the Restless, airing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET, and The Bold and the Beautiful, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. ET.
