CBS The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal, tt’s a love triangle that some people would love to see go away already, but one that also leaves others with plenty of unanswered questions. While we don’t know who will ultimately end up with whom, we do know this: Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) certainly has an edge when it comes to Liam Spencer, (Scott Clifton) compared to her love rival Hope Logan.  (Annika Noelle) Here are five reasons why.

#1 Steffy Forrester and Liam Spencer’s Conversations Are More Balanced And Understanding

Whenever Liam goes to Steffy to talk about his struggles, his troubles, and his grievances, you can tell that Steffy is always there to listen to him. And yes, she does so in a way that makes Liam feel as though she understands him. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said between Hope and Liam. Now, we don’t know if it’s because Hope is a member of the Logan family, but she tends to cry and whine about herself and her needs without factoring in the needs of her partner. With Steffy, it’s different. Their conversations are definitely more balanced and understanding.

#2 Steffy Forrester Gives Him His Space – But The Right Kind of Space

While Steffy has certainly fought for Liam in the past, things have changed between them. While there’s a very good chance that she still loves him (after all, they do share a daughter together), she gives him the space that he deserves or in his current situation right now, needs. But unlike Hope Logan, Steffy has never pushed him away. She understands that you can’t push or pull love away, but just have to give it the space that it deserves in order for things to ever happen.

#3 Steffy Forrester’s Not Out Trying To Chase Broken Promises

With Hope Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful fans have seen her push Liam Spencer away for a life with Thomas Forrester – only because she wants to help protect and raise his son, Douglas Forrester. But little does she realize that at the same time she’s neglecting her own immediate family for the needs of others. Steffy is not like that at all. She’s not out there trying to chase broken promises.

#4 Steffy Forrester Is More Level Headed Than Hope Logan

While Steffy Forrester certainly isn’t a perfect woman, she’s as close as possible to being one. If there’s one thing that fans love the most about Steffy, it’s that she’s very level headed. She thinks with her head and not her heart. She doesn’t allow her emotions to get the best of her. With Hope, it’s clearly the opposite. She’s pushing away Liam, who is supposed to be the love of her life, for another man and his son for all of the wrong reasons. Simply put, Hope doesn’t know where her priorities often are.

When You Love Someone, You Let Them Be Happy

While it might pain her to say it, Steffy knows that if you love someone, you let them be happy. Sure, she and Hope have butted heads too many times in the past to keep count, but she’s been there and done that so many times that she doesn’t want history to repeat itself anymore.

That’s why when it comes to Liam, she knows that it’s better for everyone involved that they remain, good friends, even though the love and lust for one another is still there. The Bold and The Beautiful Steffy simply has the maturity and strength that Hope lacks in this case. Hopefully, Liam will realize this before it’s too late and be with the woman who knows how to love and treat a man with the respect he deserves.
