While this is the handsome young actor’s first gig on daytime television, we have a feeling that he will be sticking around for some time to come. #1 Delon de Metz Got Looks And Smarts

Not only is Delon de Metz a very handsome actor, but he’s also someone who is incredibly well educated, too. He was born in Manhattan, New York, and studied at the Horace Mann School before attending Harvard University. Delon graduated with an honors degree in economics. While you’d think that he would pursue a career on Wall Street, Delon decided to try his hand at acting after he was encouraged to do so by his mother.

#2 His Family Roots

Delon is of Dutch and Caribbean descent. He also says that his mother is a huge fan of The Bold and the Beautiful so much so that she’s been doing a lot of research for his character, Zende, for him. We have a feeling that Delon’s mother will be front and center each and every time her son appears on a brand new episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. He definitely has her full support! Now, whether or not Delon is dating, no one knows just yet. The actor often shared a photo of his own on his social media accounts.

#3 Delon de Metz’s Early Work

Before joining The Bold and the Beautiful, Delon has worked on numerous projects, primetime shows, and a number of television series and independent films. In fact, his performances have garnered him several awards and nominations. And just to think, he’s only gotten started, too. If all goes well we might see him nominated for a Daytime Television Emmy this time next year.

#4 His B&B Audition Was On Zoom

Because of the ongoing global pandemic that has been the coronavirus, Delon didn’t have an opportunity to do a traditional audition with B&B’s casting director. Instead, it was done virtually on Zoom. Recalling the experience, Delon told Soap Opera Digest, “his is the first time I had used Zoom with casting, or with an actress for a chemistry read, so that part of the process was definitely interesting and a unique experience for me.”

#5 He’s Good Friends With Tanner Novlan

Delon isn’t the only new face on B&B this season. There’s also actor Tanner Novlan, who plays Finn on the show, who Delon happens to be good friends with. In fact, Delon is exciting to work with his old pal again on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful. Delon told Soap Opera Digest, “I’ve known him for years. We’ve bumped into each other in Los Angeles for a long time now and I’ve actually auditioned against him for a couple of roles here and there, so I sent him a message on Instagram like, ‘Dude, how funny is this?’ I’m very excited for him.”
