CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the week of August 17-21, tease that we’re in for a big week on the CBS soap. Things will kick off on Monday, August 17, with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) paying his daughter Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) a visit. Ridge will naturally want to check in on Steffy and see how her motorcycle injuries are healing up and how her pain level is. But Ridge will have some big information to drop on Steffy as well.

As B&B viewers are aware, Ridge has recently found out that he’s not only divorced from Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), but that he’s suddenly married to Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards), and that he divorced Brooke and married Shauna while he was inebriated. Well, Ridge will tell Steffy all about the fiasco – or at least what he remembers and what he’s been told about it. Steffy should be sufficiently horrified by the whole thing.

#1 Steffy Forrester Shares A Moment Of Truth With Thomas Forrester

Later in the week, Steffy will share some more poignant scenes with her brother Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), who will continue to dote on his sister and try to repair their relationship. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Thomas will have a heartfelt message for Steffy and that Steffy will share a moment of truth with Thomas. Perhaps Steffy will reveal to Thomas just how much pain and torment she’s in due to the accident.

B&B spoilers also indicate that Thomas will convince Steffy to do the right thing about some issues, so it seems that brother and sister will share some heavy discussions. Perhaps Steffy will be thinking about her painkiller prescription and what to do about it. It seems that Steffy will soon find herself in the position of asking Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) for more pain killers – or at least they’ll have a discussion about her pain level.

#2 John “Finn” Finnegan Struggles To Manage Steffy Forrester’s Pain

Finn will soon find himself in an ethical dilemma with Steffy. It seems that she’ll be in terrible pain and he won’t want her to be suffering, yet it will clearly be time for Steffy to step down to over-the-counter pain meds, and Finn will have to decide whether or not to prescribe Steffy more prescription pain pills. Since B&B spoilers indicate that Steffy will soon find herself struggling with opioid addiction issues, it looks like she just might get her hands on more pain meds one way or another.

Back to the Brooke/Ridge/Shauna saga, Brooke will find herself seeking advice from her dear friend and Ridge’s father Eric Forrester (John McCook). Eric will do his best to counsel Brooke, and chances are, he’ll encourage her to fight for her relationship with Ridge, despite his recent marriage to Shauna. Brooke will also find herself squaring off with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) during the week of August 17-21, as Quinn antagonizes Brooke about Shauna’s marriage to Ridge.

#3 Brooke Logan Confronts Quinn Forrester & Shauna Fulton Forrester

But Brooke won’t let Quinn get the last word in. In fact, it seems that Shauna will arrive as Quinn and Brooke are facing off, and perhaps seeing Quinn and Shauna together will signal something to Brooke – like that perhaps Quinn and Shauna hatched the plan together to ensnare Ridge. B&B spoilers say that Brooke will get the last word in against Quinn and Shauna, which will probably leave Shauna worried that her misdeeds will come to light.

As B&B viewers will remember, Shauna is the one who texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) using Ridge’s phone and told him to file the divorce papers. Quinn will likely tell Shauna once again that they just need to stay the course and not tell anyone about what they did and that everything will be fine. Still, it seems that Brooke is going to have some major suspicions about Quinn having something to do with Ridge and Shauna getting married.

#4 Quinn Forrester Hatches A New Plan Involving Bill Spencer

Well, after all this, it seems that Quinn won’t be able to leave well enough alone, and she’ll pay Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) a visit. B&B spoilers say that Quinn will hatch a new plan that will involve Bill, and so she’ll turn up at Bill’s office to urge him to fight for Brooke if he still wants her. It looks like Quinn will think that she can neutralize Brooke by getting her back involved with Bill.

Meanwhile, Eric and Quinn will face some marital problems of their own, as they’ll be on opposite sides of the Brooke/Ridge/Shauna situation. As always, Eric will be keen on Brooke and Ridge working out their problems, while Quinn just wants her bestie Shauna to stay married to Ridge and make a go of it. Look for some arguments between Eric and Quinn as the week goes on.

#5 Ridge Forrester & Brooke Logan Reflect On Past Mistakes

Then, as the week of August 17-21 draws to a close, B&B spoilers say that Ridge will make a plea for forgiveness, which indicates that Brooke will still be feeling put off by everything that went down in Las Vegas with Shauna. It looks like Brooke may soften a bit as she and Ridge look back at some of their mistakes of the past. Perhaps this will help “Bridge” to realize that they can overcome what’s going on with Shauna right now.

Finally, B&B spoilers indicate that Ridge will make Brooke some sort of promise. Will Ridge decide that he’s going to get out of his marriage to Shauna? That would be a significant promise to Brooke, but will it really be that simple? After all, Shauna seems pretty committed to the marriage!
