She captioned a video of her and a sweet little pup: “My #foster #puppy Dixie now Kaia has found her #Furever home!!! Fostering is the most rewarding thing you can do and it saves lives. I dedicated less than a month and two dogs stayed out of the scary overwhelming system and came out with great homes! You can do it too!!”

She added, “Reach out to a local rescue and offer your home up. It’s a Mitzvah and will totally warm your soul!! This family has scored with this pup. She is an amazing dog!! Thank you @lisachiarelli for giving me this amazing opportunity.”

According to Rena, “We did it last month for three weeks, the best experience for our kids and family. We found homes for both our pups and thankfully close by in the neighborhood so we can see them whenever we want. It’s a win-win!”

Among the comments was this thank you from the facility that Rena worked with: “Thank you so much Rena. I appreciate your support and for being on my rescue team.”

The new family Rena handed the pup off to wrote this: “Thank you for taking such good care of her! We are so excited to have her as part of our family!”
